Small‑group discussions — Recent topics have included: a) Reading like a historian, b) Working with primary sources, c) Finding your intellectual home on campus, and d) How to talk to your professors and GSIs.

Academic exploration — Creates space to talk about how historians ask questions, interpret evidence, and build arguments, and how students can develop their own historical interests and research skills.

Career pathways — Features alumni events highlighting the wide range of professions History majors pursue in education, law, public service, research, journalism, nonprofits, and beyond.

Faculty conversations — Offers sessions where professors discuss their research areas, how they approach historical inquiry, and how scholarly debates shape interpretations of the past.

Field trips & special events — Includes programs such as Get to Know Professors and their Research, the What Can You Do with a Degree in History? alumni panel, and guided tours of the Bancroft Library collections.
